Eligibility requirements

Enjoy your free eMusic®. All we ask it that you follow a couple of simple rules:

1. You must be at least 13 years of age to register for a free music download code after completing one of the Guides to Independence courses.
   
   NOTE: Course content is aimed at high school students. The 13-year-old age limit is necessary to conform to state and federal privacy legislation. See CUNA’s privacy policy.


2. You also must be a member of the sponsoring credit union or be eligible for membership to download free music.

Number of downloads

If you are eligible and registered, you are entitled to one free music download for each Guides course you complete. You may take any course more than once, but will receive a download code the first time only.

Sometimes you might receive a download code worth more than one free song. These bonus tunes are awarded randomly. Notice of any bonus songs will appear on the course certificate.

Terms and conditions

Visitors must complete a Guides course to receive a free download code. If you leave a course before completing it, you will have to start at the beginning again.

Visitors must be age 13 or older and agree to state that via the registration form for each course.

No purchase is necessary to receive download codes or to redeem them.

CUNA and the sponsoring credit union assume no liability for songs selected or played. CUNA and the sponsoring credit union assume no responsibility for any equipment malfunction during downloading.

System requirements

This site requires:

• Audio capability.
• The latest version of Flash to view the site.
• The latest version of Adobe Reader to print the certificate with the code for a free music download.
• A valid e-mail address to register for a certificate.
• A browser that accepts cookies. (Test here if cookies are enabled.)

If your home computer doesn’t have Flash or Adobe capability, consider using one at school or your local library.

TEACHERS:
If you are using Guides at school, please test it before class. Check that all equipment has appropriate software installed and that speakers are turned on. If eligible students wish to receive a free music download code, they will need individual e-mail addresses that can be used consistently for each course completed.
